Drug Formulation

8 qian of Banmao (remove head and wings; stir-fry with glutinous rice until golden; remove the rice), 4 fen of Qianhu (stir-fried), 1 qian of Frankincense (oil removed), 1 qian of Myrrh (oil removed), 1 qian of Dragon’s Blood, 4 fen of Scrophularia, 5 fen of Borneol, and 5 fen of Musk.

Instructions for Use

Prick the top of the sore with a needle, apply a speck of medicine the size of a mustard seed, and cover it with an external ointment patch. Yellow fluid will begin to ooze out almost immediately, and the sore will subside within half a day; for severe cases, change the patch once a day.
