Drug Formulation

2 liang of Angelica dahurica, 3 liang of Polygonum aviculare, 3 liang of Bletilla striata, 2 liang of Aconite root, 3 liang of Poria cocos, 3 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, half a sheng of peach kernels (soaked in hot water, skinned), half a sheng of apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, skinned), 1 liang of agarwood,3 liang of deer antler gelatin, half a liang of musk (finely ground), 5 sheng of soybean flour, 2 sheng of glutinous rice, and 5 ting of soap pods.

Processing

First, decoct the ingredients to produce 3 large bowls of decoction; strain to remove the gelatin, leaving a clear liquid. Then, take the glutinous rice, rinse it thoroughly, and cook it with the clear gelatin liquid into a porridge. Spread the porridge thinly and dry it in the sun until crisp. Mix it with the medicinal ingredients for one hour, then pound it finely and sift it into a powder.Mix the soybean flour thoroughly with the powder until uniform. Separately, melt half a bowl of wine and 2 liang of white honey over heat until the honey dissolves; immediately pour this mixture into the soybean flour mixture, stir until uniform, and dry in the sun.
