Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Tiannanxing, half a liang of dried ginger, 1.5 liang of Huangbai, 4 liang of Qianniu, 1 liang of Banxia, 1 liang of white alum, 1 liang of rhubarb, and 2 liang of clam powder.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; add water drop by drop to form pills the size of small beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 10–20 pills each time, washed down with warm water after meals, three times daily. For those with constipated stools, to remove intestinal waste and accumulated matter, the dose may be gradually increased to 30–50 pills.

Note

Contraindicated for pregnant women and those with loose stools.
