Drug Formulation

3 qian of pig’s tooth soap (chopped and ground into a fine powder), 3 qian of white alum (raw, ground extremely fine), and 1 liang of genuine dried toad venom (sliced).

Processing

First, soak the toad venom in “Dihua” rice wine until softened; then add the alum and soap powder, mix thoroughly, and roll into pills the size of mung beans. Air-dry and store.

Instructions for Use

Take one pill per dose, wrapped in the white part of a scallion, and swallow it with fine liquor. For severe cases, take twice daily.

Note

Only one pill should be taken at a time; taking two may cause vomiting, so exercise caution.
