20 croton seeds (shells removed; boil in half a zhan of water until all the water has evaporated), 1 qian of asafoetida, 1 qian of sulfur.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a thin wheat paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, then shape them into cakes.

Instructions for Use

Take one cake per dose; secure it with a needle, then burn it over a lamp flame until 3 fen of its essence remains. Dissolve it in a light ginger broth and take it at any time.
