Drug Formulation

8 liang of soapberry (with seeds removed), 6 liang of small betel nuts (dried and sliced), 4 liang of black chou, 4 liang of white chou (washed; discard any that float), and 6 qian of croton seed pulp (crushed and wrapped in hemp cloth).

Processing

Mix all the above ingredients together. Add 14 bowls of yin-yang water and boil with the mixture until the water is completely evaporated. Remove the croton seeds, dry them in the sun, grind them into a fine powder, and store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, men take 7–9 fen and women take 6–8 fen, mixed with brown sugar. To treat water-based witchcraft, use 1 qian each of Sichuan fritillary bulb, Qin Jiao, and pollen, and 9 fen of genuine perilla seeds. Decoct into a decoction and take 3 fen with it. Take the medicine once every other day.
