Drug Formulation

1 jin of zinc oxide (burned, then quenched in Coptis chinensis decoction and ground into a powder), 2 qian of Sichuan pepper (simmered into a paste, mixed with the zinc oxide powder, and baked over a fire until dry), half a liang of Coptis chinensis, half a liang of copper green, 3 qian of realgar, half a liang of cattail pollen, 2 qian of realgar, and 4 liang of mung bean powder.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients together with zinc oxide into an extremely fine powder—one that dissolves completely when chewed against the teeth without leaving any grit. Then, take 1 qian of borneol and 1 qian of southern borax, grind them into a fine powder, and mix with soybeans.

Instructions for Use

Apply a small amount each time, using a dry bone chopstick to dab it on, then lie down for a short while.

Note

Avoid alcohol, damp noodles, all kinds of mixed foods, fish and meat, and pungent or heating foods.
