Drug Formulation
Chrysanthemum flowers (stems removed) 3 liang, aniseed 3 liang, cyperus rhizome (roasted, soaked in wine overnight, then dried) 3 liang, prepared dried rehmannia root 3 liang, angelica root 3 liang, cinnamon bark (coarse outer bark removed) 3 liang, achyranthes root 3 liang, corydalis root (roasted) 3 liang, peony root 3 liang, cattail pollen 3 liang, atractylodes rhizome 3 liang.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Boil 1 sheng of black beans in vinegar until dry, then roast and grind into a powder. Add 2 bowls of vinegar and boil until reduced to 1 bowl; set aside as a paste. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 20 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine or vinegar broth; for piercing pain caused by blood and qi, take with wine infused with stir-fried ginger; for colicky pain associated with masses, take with wine infused with Angelica sinensis.
Note
Avoid duck meat and mutton blood.
