Drug Formulation

3 fen of Bi Zi Ren, 3 fen of Xi Xin, 3 fen of Fang Feng (with the root tip removed), 3 fen of Fu Shen,2 liang of softshell turtle shell (coated with vinegar and roasted until yellow; remove the skirt-like edges), 3 fen of rhinoceros horn shavings, 3 fen of licorice (roasted until slightly reddish; coarsely chopped), half a liang of platycodon root (remove the root tip), half a liang of angelica pubescens, half a liang of cinnamon bark, half a liang of white atractylodes, and half a liang of trichosanthes peel (remove the pith; stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow).

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose. Add 3 jujubes to 1 medium bowl of water and decoct until reduced to 6 fen. Strain and take warm, regardless of the time of day.
