Drug Formulation

Agarwood (chopped) 1 liang, Schisandra berries (lightly roasted) 1 liang, water lily seeds (with husks) 1 liang, silkworm cocoons (roasted) 1 liang, rosehip 1 liang, sweet flag (roots removed; use stems and leaves) 1 liang, deer antler (dehaired, fried in butter) 1 liang,Dodder Seed (soaked in wine for 3 days, separated) 1 liang, Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, peel and navel removed, chopped, thoroughly simmered with green salt and black beans, baked dry, salt and beans removed) 1 liang, Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine, sliced, baked) 1 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine, sliced, baked, ground into powder separately) 8 liang.

Processing

Take these 11 ingredients; grind 10 of them into a fine powder. First, simmer the Cistanche powder with 1 sheng of fine wine over low heat until reduced to a decoction, then mix it with the other ingredients to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with ginger and salted water; warm wine may also be used.
