Drug Formulation

Zhike (pulp removed, soaked in wine, stir-fried with wheat bran) 3 liang, Sichuan Melia Fruit (dried, stir-fried with green salt) 3 liang, Bajie (core removed, soaked in wine) 3 liang, Leek Seeds (soaked in wine, stir-fried until charred) 3 liang, Star Anise (stir-fried with a small amount of green salt along with fennel seeds) 3 liang,White Poria 3 liang, Wood Fragrance 1 liang, Agarwood 1 liang, Musk 2 qian, Rock Salt 1 liang, White Horse Penis 1 piece (lightly stir-fried, sun-dried, sliced, and ground into a separate powder; if horse penis is unavailable, use 13 yellow dog penises, sliced and oven-dried; if fox penises are available, use only 9, sliced, oven-dried, and ground into a separate powder).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then mix it thoroughly with the separately ground powder. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using wine as the binder.

Instructions for Use

Take 50–60 pills per dose in the morning on an empty stomach, washed down with fine wine and followed by a dry food to settle the stomach.

Note

Avoid consuming ginger, radish, bean flour, and pig’s blood.
