Drug Formulation

1.5 qian of Oyster Shell (calcined to a powder), 0.8 fen of Schizonepeta Spikes, 0.8 fen of Blue Mustard Seeds (stir-fried with wine, ground), 0.8 fen of Equisetum, 0.8 fen of Notopterygium, 1.5 qian of Ophiopogon (core removed), 0.8 fen of Gardenia Seeds (stir-fried), 0.6 fen of White Peony Root (stir-fried with wine), 0.3 fen of Rhubarb (lightly stir-fried with wine).

Instructions for Use

For cases of distant visual heaviness, add 1 fen of male and female stone powder, decoct 8 fen in water, and take after meals. Decoct all the herbs, pour the decoction into a bowl, clarify it to remove the dregs, then add the male and female stone powder, stir well, and take it.The Male Stone will be heavy and sink to the bottom of the bowl; after finishing the decoction, use the tip of the tongue to scoop up the Male Stone powder into the mouth and swallow it with plain water; then apply it to the eyes. Take 7 doses during the first seven-day period; skip eye application during the second seven-day period and take 7 doses; apply the medicine to the eyes during the third seven-day period and take 7 doses; for extremely severe cases, take 100 doses; for moderately severe cases, 50–60 doses; for mild cases, 30–40 doses.
