Formulas Name : Highly Effective Malaria Pill

Chinese Name : 大效疟丹

Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Fei Luo flour, half a liang of light soybeans (stir-fried), half a liang of realgar, 1 fen of frankincense, 1 liang of yellow丹 (stir-fried until discolored), 100 peach kernels (soaked in hot water, with skins and tips removed), and 1 qian of cinnabar (as a coating).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Pound a single-clove garlic into a paste, rub the mixture through a clean cloth to form pills the size of a chicken’s egg, and coat them with cinnabar.

Take 1 pill per dose on the day of an expected attack, washed down with warm wine or well water.

Note
