Drug Formulation

Aconite Root, Sichuan Pepper, Atractylodes, and Dried Ginger—each in equal parts.

Processing

Take half a jin of salt. First, place it in a pot and stir-fry until nearly dry. Begin by stir-frying Aconite Root until it turns reddish; next, add Atractylodes; then, add Dried Ginger; finally, add Sichuan Pepper and stir-fry until the pepper is fragrant and cooked through. Pour the entire mixture onto paper spread on the ground to remove the heat toxicity;In summer, sift out all the salt; in winter, remove three-tenths of the salt and leave one-tenth in the mixture. Grind all ingredients into a fine powder. To prepare, pound the powder with vinegar until thoroughly mixed, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed; if forming pills is difficult, add a small amount of thin paste to bind them.

Instructions for Use
