Drug Formulation

4 liang of Angelica sinensis, 3 liang of raw Rehmannia glutinosa, 3 liang of Scrophularia ningpoensis, 2 liang of Panax ginseng, 2 liang of Ophiopogon japonicus, 5 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, 3 qian of raw Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 1 liang of Sanguisorba officinalis, 5 qian of Panax notoginseng, 5 qian of Dipsacus asper, 3 qian of Liu Jinu, 3 qian of Frankincense, 3 qian of Myrrh, and 2 qian of Huarui Stone.

Instructions for Use

Divide the above into 6 doses; decoct in water and take orally.

Note

For thirst resulting from a knife wound, strictly avoid drinking cold water, as blood loss generates a deficient fire; extinguishing this fire will cause the patient’s vital energy to cease.
