Drug Formulation

Cinnabar (ground) 2 liang, Musk (ground) 1 fen, Borneol (ground) 1 fen, Honey (refined) 2 liang.

Processing

For these four ingredients, wash the cinnabar with water, decant off the clear water, then add the remaining three ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place the mixture into a new bamboo tube. In a separate pot, add 5 sheng of black beans. Place the bamboo tube containing the mixture inside the beans, securing it firmly on all sides. Boil over a fire until the beans are cooked. Stir with a willow stick until the mixture turns into oil, then remove it and store in a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use

Take half a qian bi per dose, mixed with warm wine on an empty stomach.
