Drug Formulation

8 qian of Huai Shu Di Huang (steamed with wine),Cornus officinalis (steamed with wine, pitted) 3 qian, Dioscorea opposita (steamed) 3 qian, Alisma orientale (hairs removed) 3 qian, Paeonia suffruticosa (stems removed) 3 qian, Poria cocos (peeled) 3 qian, Angelica sinensis (washed with wine) 3 qian (one formula adds 4 qian of deer antler fried with butter and 4 qian of Achyranthes bidentata, washed with wine and root base removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a water caltrop.
