Half a liang of Digu Pi, half a liang of Bai Zhi, half a liang of Sheng Ma, half a liang of Fang Feng (with branches removed), half a liang of Chi Shaoyao, 1 liang of Chai Hu (with stems removed), 1.5 liang of Sheng Gan Di Huang (roasted), half a liang of Da Huang (chopped and stir-fried), half a liang of Huang Qin (with black core removed), half a liang of Zhi Ke (with pith removed and stir-fried with bran),Ligusticum wallichii root half liang, Anemarrhena asphodeloides (roasted) half liang, Asarum sieboldii half liang,half liang of Areca nut (chopped), half liang of Asarum (stems and leaves removed), half liang of Chrysanthemum flowers, half liang of Ligusticum (stems and soil removed), half liang of Pharbitis seeds (roasted), half liang of horse-tooth shell (ground), half liang of rhinoceros horn shavings, 1 liang of Coptis chinensis, and 1 liang of licorice (roasted).
