Drug Formulation

1 jin of raw Rehmannia root (wash thoroughly, dry, slice, soak in wine for 2 fu, remove, place in a paper bag, bake over fire until dry, then grind into powder), 2 liang of Aconite root (roasted until cracked, remove skin and pith), 1 liang of Cinnamon bark, 1 liang of Angelica root, 1 liang of Ligusticum root, and 1 liang of Peach kernels (soaked in hot water, remove skin, tips, and double kernels, then lightly roasted).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the gold powder, and simmer with 2 dou of wine over low heat until it becomes a thick decoction.
