Drug Formulation

Raw Rehmannia root 5 jin (grind to extract juice; boil in a silver or stone vessel until reduced by half; add 4 liang of white honey and simmer over low heat until it forms a paste), Dendrobium (roots removed) 1 liang, Morinda officinalis (core removed) 1 liang, Achyranthes root (stems removed, sliced, soaked in wine, and roasted) 1 liang, Cistanche (soaked in wine, rough skin removed, sliced, and roasted) 1 liang,Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Psoralea (roasted) 1 liang, Deer Antler Gelatin (roasted until dry) 1 liang, Dodder Seed (soaked in wine, ground into a separate powder) 1 liang, Wood Fragrance 1 liang, Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 1 liang, Goji Berries (roasted) 1 liang, Deer Antler (dehaired, roasted with ghee) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with a paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 pills per dose on an empty stomach or before bedtime, washed down with warm wine or salted broth.
