Drug Formulation

3 liang Sichuan croton seeds (cleaned flesh), 2 liang sulfur(Do not grind. Place both ingredients together in a raw silk bag, suspend it in a porcelain jar so it does not touch the bottom, and boil in water for 3 days and 3 nights. If the water evaporates, replenish it immediately. Instructions for Use

Take 1–2 pills per dose. For swelling due to dietary injury or deficiency, take with Orange Peel Decoction; for cholera with vomiting and diarrhea or bloody dysentery, take with Licorice Decoction; for white dysentery, take with Dried Ginger Decoction; for mixed red and white dysentery, take with Dried Ginger and Licorice Decoction; for watery diarrhea, take with cold water; for difficulty urinating, take with Rush Decoction; for constipation, take with rice gruel; for women’s blood and qi disorders, take with Angelica Wine;For deficiency of original qi, take with wine infused with stir-fried fennel; for low back pain, take with Cornus Decoction; for childhood malnutrition and food stagnation, take with rice water; for qi disorders, take with Orange Peel Decoction; for qi masses and masses, take with hot wine; for headache due to typhoid fever, take with Licorice Decoction before bedtime. If there is excessive heat in the viscera, adjust the number of pills as needed at the time of administration.
