Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with two portions of distilled rice to form a paste, pound it over a thousand times, shape into pills the size of chestnuts, and dry in the sun.

Take one pill at a time; just before use, heat it until red-hot over charcoal, then grind it into a fine powder while still hot. Mix with one cup of boiling wine and take it; follow with a decoction of scallions and vinegar. Recovery occurs upon sweating.
