Drug Formulation

Green alum: 4 liang (place in a jar, cover, and calcine over a fire until the contents are consumed; allow to cool, remove, add 1 he of salt and 1 liang of sulfur, grind together with the alum, return to the jar, and calcine again until the contents are consumed; allow to cool, remove, and grind finely); Aconite root: 1 liang (roast to remove the skin and pith, then pound into a fine powder).
