Drug Formulation

6 qian of Strychnos nux-vomica, 5 qian of Angelica sinensis, 5 qian of Lepidium, 3 qian of Phellodendron, 3 qian of Sophora flavescens, 3 qian of Apricot kernels, 3 qian of Wolf’s-bane, 3 qian of White Aconite, and 2 carp gallbladders.

Processing

Use 10 liang of sesame oil; add the above herbs to the oil and simmer until it turns dark yellow. Strain out the residue, add 1 liang 2 qian of beeswax, and melt it completely. Filter through a cloth and store in a jar.

Instructions for Use

Apply a small amount each time; wrap a finger in indigo-dyed cloth, dip it in the oil, and rub the sore.
