Drug Formulation

1 liang of Ephedra (knots removed), 1 liang of Ginseng, 1 liang of Scutellaria, 1 liang of Peony, 1 liang of Stephania, 1 liang of Cinnamon Twig, 1 liang of Ligusticum, 1.5 liang of Saposhnikovia, 1 liang of Aconite, 1 liang of Apricot Kernel, 4 liang of Licorice, and 1 liang of Dried Ginger.

Processing

Grind all ingredients except Aconite and Apricot Kernels into a coarse powder; then add the two ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Instructions for Use

Take 5–7 qian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water and 5 slices of fresh ginger; decoct until reduced to 1 zhan; strain; and take while still slightly warm before meals.
