First, mix the swallow’s nest with well water until it is the size of a walnut.

Benefits

For headaches.

Instructions for Use

Wrap it in a white gauze cloth and apply it to the eye to soothe it; if any residue forms, wash it off with well water. Mix the herbs thoroughly. First, soak the rock salt and borax in vinegar for three days and nights, turning the mixture once daily—moving the herbs from the top to the bottom—and pressing down the vinegar firmly with a stone. After the period is up, remove all the herbs and discard them. Take only the soapberry pods and roast them over a strong fire fueled by mulberry wood until dry.then dip each soapberry one by one into the vinegar from the soaking solution, roast it over a fire until dry, dip it in vinegar again, and repeat the roasting until all the vinegar is absorbed. Once the soapberries are roasted to about 60% dryness and thoroughly charred, grind them into a fine powder.Use 2–3 times daily to brush the teeth for one month; use no more than 1 liang. Start with a small amount and gradually increase the dosage. If saliva is produced, swallow it; after brushing, rinse the mouth several times with saliva to complete the treatment. For every liang of powdered medicine, add 100 wen of musk; the more musk used, the more effective the treatment.
