Chinese Name : 干荔枝汤

Drug Formulation

1 jin of cane sugar (sugar balls are also acceptable), 2 liang of large black plum (moist variety; soak in hot water, changing the water periodically, strain out the acidic liquid, leave the pits intact, and bake until dry), cinnamon (peeled and ground into powder), and 2 liang of fresh ginger (thinly sliced and baked until dry).

Instructions for Use

First, grind the black plums and ginger into a fine powder, mix it into the sugar, and blend thoroughly with the ground cinnamon. Then sift the mixture through a coarse sieve and consume it as a snack. To make a paste, remove the pits from the black plums and prepare them as described above, but do not roast them. Grind the cinnamon into a powder after cutting it into small pieces, and slice the ginger without roasting it. Simmer with 3 bowls of water until reduced to 2 bowls, then mix the liquid with water and take it orally. For summer heat and restlessness, mix it with well water before taking.
