Drug Formulation

2 liang of Galanga (chopped), 2 liang of Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, coated with ginger juice three times, then roasted until dry), 2 liang of Aged Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, then roasted until dry), 2 liang of Atractylodes, 2 liang of Mulberry Root Bark (chopped, stir-fried), 2 liang of Licorice (roasted),Ginseng 1 liang, Papaya (peeled, seeded, and pith removed; baked dry) 3 liang, Schisandra berries (sorted) 2 liang, Cinnamon (coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Areca nut (chopped) 1 liang, Terminalia chebula peel 1 liang, Frankincense 1 liang, Nutmeg kernels 1 liang, Salt 3 sheng (rinsed to remove impurities, refined into salt crystals, and ground).

Processing

Of the 15 ingredients listed above, first pound the first 14 into a fine powder, then grind them together with the salt crystals until uniformly mixed. Add 5 sheng of water and the medicinal powder to a pot at the same time, and simmer together with the salt crystals, stirring constantly. When the water has evaporated, transfer the medicine to a basin; once dry, store it.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, add a small amount of fresh ginger, decoct in water, and take with the decoction.
