Drug Formulation

2.5 liang of Astragalus, 2.5 liang of Ginseng, 2 liang of Goji Berries, 2 liang of Cistanche, 2 liang of Schisandra, 2.5 liang of Lotus Seed, 2 liang of Chinese Yam, 2.5 liang of Clam Powder, 2 liang of Phellodendron (mixed with wine, sun-dried, and stir-fried until black).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 6 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, add 5 bowls of water, and decoct until reduced to 2 bowls; strain the decoction and set it aside. Add another 4 bowls of water, decoct until reduced to 2 bowls, strain out the residue, and combine it with the previous 2 bowls of decoction. Simmer until reduced to 1 bowl, forming a paste-like consistency. Mix this with the prepared powder to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 60–70 pills, and swallow them on an empty stomach with warm wine or lightly salted broth.
