Benefits

For cases on the 8th or 9th day of cold damage, where wind and dampness combine, causing body pain and restlessness, inability to turn over in bed, no vomiting or thirst, hard stools, and free flow of urine.

Instructions for Use

Boil 6 sheng of water down to 3 sheng, strain out the residue, and divide the decoction into 3 doses to be taken warm. After the first dose, the patient may feel as if afflicted by bi syndrome; take the next dose after about half a day. After all three doses are taken, the patient may feel as if suffering from a cold—do not be alarmed. This occurs because the Aconite and Atractylodes have penetrated the skin to expel retained water that has not yet been fully eliminated. For the frail and postpartum women, the dosage should be reduced.

Note

Avoid scallions, pork, Chinese cabbage, seaweed, peaches, plums, and sparrow meat.
