Drug Formulation

1 fen of borneol (finely ground), 1 liang of Sichuan Cimicifuga, half a liang of licorice (roasted until slightly reddish, coarsely chopped), 1 liang of horse-tooth oyster shell, 1 fen of musk (finely ground), 1 liang of stalactite powder, half a liang of Sichuan rhubarb (roasted, crushed, and lightly stir-fried), 1 liang of astragalus (coarsely chopped), and 5 liang of raw rehmannia (extract the juice).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix in the ground medicine until uniform, combine with the Rehmannia juice, and add refined honey to form pills the size of a Chinese neem fruit.

Instructions for Use

First, apply deep acupuncture to the swollen area to disperse the toxic qi; then, wrap one pill in cotton and hold it in the mouth, swallowing the saliva as needed, at any time. Continue until the throat is clear and unobstructed.
