Drug Formulation

1 liang of peony root, half a liang of wood fragrant, half a liang of angelica root, half a liang of cassia bark, half a liang of dried lacquer (stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), half a liang of five-spirit fat, half a liang of rhubarb, 2.5 qian of leech (stir-fried), half a liang of Guangming, 30 horseflies (heads and legs removed, stir-fried with wheat bran), and 27 peach kernels (soaked, skins and tips removed).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with vinegar paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
