Drug Formulation

4.5 qian of cinnabar (ground), 4.5 qian of frankincense (ground), 1 qian of borax, 3 qian of real reaper’s head, 5 qian of arsenic trioxide, 6 qian of white alum (calcined until dry, then ground), 3 fen of musk, and 6 qian of Guo Dan.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, place in a clean pot, and mix thoroughly with beeswax.

Instructions for Use

Depending on the size and depth of the ulcer, prepare a paste on the spot and insert it into the ulcer; change it once a day. Use approximately 3–5 times until the toxic tissue is completely cleared, then apply an ointment plaster.
