Drug Formulation

1 jin of Cyperus rhizome (soak half a jin in a child’s urine and half a jin in good vinegar, each for 7 days); 4 liang of high-quality mugwort (mix thoroughly with the Cyperus rhizome, then add 5 bowls of good vinegar; simmer in an earthenware pot until completely dry, sun-dry during the day, and grind into a fine powder); 2 liang of myrrh; 2 liang of Angelica sinensis (washed with wine); 2 liang of Chuanxiong;2 liang of Prepared Rehmannia Root (steamed with wine, pounded separately, then mixed into the paste), 2 liang of Raw Rehmannia Root (soaked in wine, pounded separately, then mixed into the paste), 2 liang of Peony Root (baked), 1 liang of Amber (ground separately).
