Drug Formulation

Sanleng (roasted), E Zhu (roasted), Dry Lacquer (stir-fried until all smoke dissipates), Realgar, Horsefly (stir-fried with glutinous rice), Leeches (stir-fried with lime), Amber, Cinnamon Bark, Achyranthes Root (stem removed, stir-fried with wine), and Rhubarb—all in equal parts.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with the natural juice of raw Rehmannia root and rice vinegar to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
