Drug Formulation

Beijing-grown Acorus tatarinowii (roasted, chopped) 1 liang,Shi Sanling half liang, Jizhao Sanling half liang, Guang Zhu (roasted, chopped) half liang, Mu Xiang half liang, Fu Ling (peeled) half liang, Zhi Ke (wheat bran-fried, pith removed) 3 qian and a half, Bin Lang 3 qian, Qing Pi (white pith removed) 3 qian, Bi Cheng Jia 3 qian,Piper longum 3 qian, realgar (ground separately) 2.5 qian, Zhi Shi (wheat bran-fried, pith removed, raw) 1 liang, Chen Pi (white pith removed), black pharbitis (4 liang, take the fine powder) 1 liang, Qinglongshi 0.5 liang (ground separately), Xiangfuzi (roasted) 1 liang, rhubarb (powdered separately) 1.5 liang.

Processing

Grind all the above herbs, except for the rhubarb powder, into a fine powder. Add 2 sheng of strong rice vinegar and the rhubarb powder, then simmer together until it forms a paste. Shape the paste into pills the size of a yellow millet grain.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 30–40 pills. Take on an empty stomach or before bedtime with breast milk; warm rice soup may also be used. Take twice daily.
