Drug Formulation

2.5 liang of Perilla frutescens, 5 he of Rehmannia glutinosa juice, 1 liang of white mulberry root bark (chopped), 5 he of ginger juice, 2 liang of Pueraria root (chopped), 2 liang of small thistle root (sliced), and 2 liang of bamboo shavings.

Processing

Grind all ingredients except Rehmannia and ginger juice into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose. Decoct with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan; strain out the residue. Add half a he each of Rehmannia juice and ginger juice, then decoct for another 3–5 boils. Strain and take while warm, once after each meal.
