Drug Formulation

87.5 g of Yunnan Chicken Blood Vine ointment powder, 23.8 g of Sichuan Achyranthes, 21.2 g of Dipsacus, 2 g of Safflower, 5 g of black beans, 175 g of cooked glutinous rice flour, and 120 g of maltose.

Processing

Of the seven ingredients listed above, except for the Yunnan Chicken Blood Vine Paste Powder, cooked glutinous rice flour, and maltose, the remaining herbs are decocted three times with water, filtered, and the decoctions combined. The mixture is then concentrated into a paste. The Yunnan Chicken Blood Vine Paste Powder and the other two ingredients are added, thoroughly mixed, formed into blocks, and dried to complete the preparation.

Instructions for Use

Crush the paste, dissolve it in equal parts water and wine, and take 6–10 g twice daily.
