Drug Formulation

Danggui (washed in wine, sun-dried) 6 liang, Shu Di (washed in wine) 1 qian, Xiangfuzi 1 jin (processed in four stages: soaked in vinegar, wine, children’s urine, and salt water for 3 days each, then stir-fried until dry), Bai Shaoyao (stir-fried with wine) 1 qian, Chuanxiong 1 qian, Yimucao (best harvested on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month; avoid contact with iron; finely ground) half a jin, Gancao (roasted) 1 liang,Poria (peeled) 3 liang, Corydalis (roasted) 2 liang, Ginseng (root tip removed) 2 liang, Wood Fragrance (unroasted) 4 liang, Atractylodes (roasted with earth) 4 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
