Drug Formulation

Bupleurum root (half liang), Magnolia bark (half liang), Ginseng (half liang), Dried ginger (half liang), Sichuan aconite (3 qian), Croton seed powder (3 qian), Cinnamon bark (2 qian), Coptis root (1 liang), Sichuan pepper (5 fen), Licorice root (5 fen).

Processing

Grind all ingredients except the Croton Seed Powder into a fine powder; then mix in the Croton Seed Powder and blend thoroughly. Form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using refined honey.

Instructions for Use

Begin with 2 pills; add 1 pill on the first day, 2 pills on the second day, and gradually increase the dose until the stool becomes slightly loose. Then resume increasing the dose by 2 pills at a time, taking them on an empty stomach with a small amount of diluted vinegar water.
