Drug Formulation

2 liang of White Aconite Root, 2 liang of Tiannanxing, 2 liang of Pinellia, 2 liang of Sichuan Ginger, 1 liang of Tianma, 1 liang of White Silkworm Pupae, 1 liang of Dried Scorpion, and half a liang of Sichuan Aconite (with skin and tip removed).

Processing

Grind all the above raw herbs into a fine powder; mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

For sudden stroke caused by wind-pathogen, hemiplegia, deviation of the mouth and eyes, obstruction due to phlegm and saliva, shortness of breath, coughing, and hemoptysis, as well as fullness and oppression in the chest and diaphragm; for infantile convulsions; for women with blood-wind disorders; and for adults with “hair-washing wind”—all are suitable for this treatment.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–50 pills per dose, washed down with ginger tea, at any time of day. For paralysis due to stroke, take with warm wine; for infantile convulsions, take 5–7 pills with peppermint tea.

Note

Pregnant women should not take this formula.
