Drug Formulation

Ephedra: half a qian (with nodes intact; washed in boiling water, dried in an oven, and dehaired); Apricot Kernels (with skin intact): 2 qian; Bitter Honeysuckle Stem: 2 qian; Licorice (raw): half a qian; Inula Flower (with calyx removed): half a qian.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. For each dose, take 1 da qian of the mixture, add 1 zhan of water, 1 slice of fresh ginger, a few Schisandra berries, 1 bamboo leaf (do not use too much), and a few glutinous rice grains. Decoct until reduced to half a zhan, divide into two doses, and take warm after meals.
