Drug Formulation

3 liang of Chenpi (white pith removed), 6 liang of Jiegeng (root stalk removed), 3 liang of Zhike (pith removed), 12 liang of Cangzhu (washed, peeled, and soaked in rice water overnight),White Peony Root 1 liang and a half, White Angelica Root 1 liang and a half, Sichuan Lovage Root 1 liang and a half, Chinese Angelica Root (stem removed, soaked in wine overnight) 1 liang and a half, Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed) 1 liang and a half, Pinellia Rhizome (soaked in boiling water 7 times) 1 liang and a half, Poria (coarse bark removed) 1 liang and a half, Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, processed with ginger) 2 liang,Dried Ginger (roasted) 2 liang, Acanthopanax Bark 2 liang, Licorice 1.5 liang, Papaya 3 liang, Achyranthes Root 3 liang, Cornelian Cherry 3 liang, Authentic Sichuan Aconite Root 1 piece (used raw, with tip intact).

Processing

Coarsely crush the ingredients; except for Zhi Ke and Cinnamon Bark, stir-fry until golden yellow, spread out to cool, then mix thoroughly.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose, add 3 slices of fresh ginger, one and a half water bowls of water, and half a cup of ash-free wine; decoct together until reduced to 7 fen, and take on an empty stomach. If steeped in wine for 7 days beforehand, drinking one warm cup each morning, noon, and evening is particularly effective.
