Drug Formulation

5 qian of Prepared Rehmannia, 3 qian of Angelica sinensis (if diarrhea persists after 3–4 doses, omit Angelica sinensis), 1 qian 6 fen of Cornus fruit, 1 qian of Fried Licorice, 3 qian of Goji berries, 2 qian of Roasted Jujube seeds, 1 qian of Cinnamon bark, 1 qian of Schisandra berries, 2 qian of Polygonum multiflorum, 3 slices of fresh ginger, 3 red dates, and 1 walnut(crushed to serve as a guide).

Instructions for Use

Boil 1 liang of hearth soil in water, strain the liquid, and simmer the herbs to extract a concentrated decoction. Take about half a teacup of this concentrated decoction. Separately, boil 3 fen of Aconite in water and mix it into the decoction. Depending on the child’s age, divide the mixture into several doses and administer orally.
