Drug Formulation

Chuanhuanglian (sliced, mixed with wine, soaked in Wu Zhu Yu for two nights, stir-fried on a tile until dry, then stored separately; net weight of Huanglian: 3 liang; for white dysentery, add 1 liang of Wu Zhu Yu; for red dysentery, stir-fry with moist Sophora japonica flowers, then remove the flowers) 8 liang, Bai Shaoyao (soaked in wine, sliced, and stir-fried) 5 liang,Black Plum Flesh 2 liang, Talc (water-floated) 6 liang, Fried Licorice 2 liang, Cimicifuga (green variety, stir-fried with vinegar) 3 liang, Lotus Seed (core removed, stir-fried) 6 liang, White Pigeon Pea (stir-fried, hulled) 3 liang, Red Rice Mold (sifted clean, stir-fried) 5 liang, Dried Kudzu Root 2 liang.
