Dragon-Subduing Pill

Dragon-Subduing Pill,Manic disorders. These arise when intense anger stirs the liver wind, or when great fright stirs the heart fire, or when pre-existing phlegm suddenly causes fire to rise—rising without descending—thereby obstructing the heart’s orifices and obscuring the spirit’s clarity, preventing it from flowing freely. The mind loses its command, and the heart becomes enslaved by phlegm, leading to sudden outbursts: leaping over walls and onto rooftops, wielding knives to kill, running naked and cursing without regard for kinship or acquaintance, or dashing about and crossing water as if on dry land.
