Drug Formulation

3 qian of asafoetida, 3 qian of curcuma zedoaria, 2 qian of curcuma zedoaria rhizome, 5 fen of musk, 7 chicken gizzard skins (air-dried), 1 cup of eel blood, 4 liang of rhubarb, 24 water chestnuts (with skin, air-dried).

Processing

Take 1 jin of sesame oil; first simmer all the herbs, then strain out the residue; add asafoetida and simmer until charred; then add the eel blood and heat until water droplets form beads; add 4 liang of roasted yellow丹, stirring slowly until it forms a paste; let it cool and set, then mix in the musk powder.
