Drug Formulation

Frankincense (oil removed) 2 qian, Myrrh (oil removed) 2 qian, Dragon’s Blood 2 qian, Catechu 2 qian, Dragon Bone 2 qian (calcined), Elephant Skin 2 qian (stir-fried with earth until pearl-like), Mercury Oxide 3 qian, Notoginseng 2 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Then, take 1 jin of aged lime, 2 liang of rhubarb, and 1 liang of white angelica root; stir-fry these three ingredients together until they turn pink, grind them into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the previous powder, and store in a porcelain jar.
