Drug Formulation

Top-grade prepared Rehmannia root 1 jin (mixed with human milk and steamed 9 times), top-grade raw Rehmannia root 6 liang (washed with wine), Dodder seed 5 liang (boiled in wine until threads emerge), Astragalus root (honey-fried) 3 liang, Ophiopogon tuber (core removed) 3 liang, Asparagus root (core removed) 3 liang, Ligustrum fruit (mixed with human milk and steamed 9 times) 3 liang, Atractylodes rhizome (soaked in rice water, then stir-fried) 3 liang,White Peony Root (wine-fried) 3 liang, Euryale Seed 3 liang, Angelica Root (wine-washed) 3 liang, Apricot Kernel 3 liang (fried), Eucommia Bark (salt-water fried until fibers break) 3 liang, Poria 3 liang (steamed with breast milk, sun-dried), Cornus Fruit 2 liang, Chinese Yam (fried) 4 liang, Oyster Shell 4 liang (mixed with children’s urine, wrapped in yellow clay and baked),Fish Glue 8 liang (stir-fried with clam powder) (all of the above prepared according to standard methods; weigh precisely according to the specified amounts and grind into a powder for later use), Longan Flesh 1 jin, Green Walnut Kernels 1 jin (pound these two ingredients into a paste), Lotus Seeds 8 liang (remove the cores, roast, and grind), Genuine Jujube Flesh 5 liang (pound these four ingredients together until well blended).
