Drug Formulation

Jin Ya (ground separately): 1 liang; Fangfeng (with branches removed): 2 liang; Cezi (roasted until cracked, with skin and navel removed): 2 liang; Danggui (sliced, roasted): 2 liang; Gypsum (ground separately into a fine powder): 2 liang; Cinnamon (with coarse bark removed): 2 liang; Chuanxiong: 1.5 liang; Bai Zhu (lightly roasted): 3 liang;Alisma 1.5 liang, Asarum (stems and leaves removed, lightly roasted) 1.5 liang, Scutellaria (black core removed) 1.5 liang, Red Poria (black skin removed) 1.5 liang, Heather Leaf (roasted with wine) 2 liang, Ginseng 2 liang.

Processing

Except for Jin Ya and Gypsum, which are ground separately, grind the remaining 12 ingredients into a powder. Then mix in the Jin Ya and Gypsum powders, blend thoroughly, and sift through a fine sieve.

Instructions for Use

Take 1.5 qianbi per dose, gradually increasing to 2 qianbi; take on an empty stomach with warm wine, twice daily and once at night. If no improvement is felt, increase the dose to 2.5 qianbi.
